We are guides. We are not customer-service software experts. Message ran our booking inquiries, weather-emergency calls, and trophy-photo follow-ups out of one inbox on day two. Day two.

The problem

Before Message.

Ox Ranch handles bookings, weather updates, equipment questions, and post-hunt trophy photo deliveries. The old stack was a Gmail shared inbox, an iPhone for the lodge phone, a separate Facebook DM tab, and a notebook. When a guide was guiding, nobody picked up.

The story

How Ox Ranch got here.

01

Why a 26,000-acre property needed SaaS

Ox Ranch sits 90 minutes from cell coverage in places. Guides cannot answer a desktop inbox from a deer blind. Cole needed a mobile-first inbox that worked offline, queued replies, and synced when service returned. Message's PWA does that.

02

Phone in the cattle truck

Calls route to whichever guide is closest to coverage. When Cole picks up from his truck, the customer's prior booking history is on his phone screen. He answers a question, books a slot, and is back on the radio with the guides in 90 seconds.

03

Trophy photos that find their way home

Hunters expect their trophy photo within 24 hours. The old workflow lost half of them. Now photos drop into the booking's conversation thread, get auto-tagged by guest name, and are delivered with a thank-you note the AI drafts based on the hunt outcome.

04

A small team with big-team tooling

Ox Ranch employs 11 people. The same inbox-and-routing engine that runs Realty.com's 700 partner agents runs the Ox Ranch lodge. Cole's words: 'It is not enterprise software pretending to be small. It is small software that scales when we do.'
