Under the hood.
We connect to Google Calendar via OAuth with the calendar.events scope. When the customer opens the booking card in the chat, we query freebusy for the configured agents and render available slots in the customer's local timezone. The customer picks a slot, we POST a new event with attendees set to the customer email and the assigned agent. Google generates the Meet link, the invite goes out, and we post a confirmation into the chat.

- 01Open Integrations, then Google Calendar in your workspace.
- 02Click Connect Google. Each agent authorizes their own calendar separately.
- 03Configure working hours, meeting durations, and buffer times per agent.
- 04Pick the team or skill that should be offered for booking from chat.
- 05Optional: configure the AI to offer Google Calendar on sales-tagged conversations.
- 06Save. The booking card is available as an inline chat action.
Questions people ask before they install.
Do customers need a Google account?
No. They receive the calendar invite by email and can join the Meet link without signing in.
Will it respect my existing calendar events as busy?
Yes. We use the Google freebusy API, which considers every event on the connected calendar, including ones from other tools.
Can I use this with a non-Google work calendar?
Not today. Outlook 365 calendar is on the roadmap. For now, use Calendly with your Outlook account connected.
What about teams with shared calendars?
Supported. Connect the shared calendar and treat it like any agent calendar, or use round-robin across individual agent calendars.
