How it works

Under the hood.

We use Amplitude's HTTP V2 API to fire events server-side. Each event carries the conversation context, the user_id or device_id, and any user properties you map. Identify calls update the Amplitude user profile when visitor identity becomes known. Events land in your Amplitude project within seconds.

Questions people ask before they install.

Does it work with Amplitude EU?

Yes. Toggle the EU endpoint in the integration settings and paste your EU project keys.

What is the difference vs the Segment integration?

Amplitude is a direct destination, no Segment in the middle. Use this if you do not already have Segment. If you do have Segment, route through Segment and skip this.

Will it count against my Amplitude event quota?

Yes, like any source. Test with a sample week to confirm volume fits your plan.

Can I send group analytics (account-level)?

Yes. Map the account ID as a group property and we set group calls on every event.
