Call recording is off by default. Turn it on per number, per agent, or per call type in Settings > Phone > Recording.
Consent
Where required by law (two-party consent states in the US, the EU under GDPR, the UK under the Telecommunications Act), Message plays an opt-in announcement at the start of every recorded call. The announcement is configurable in 38 languages.
Retention
Default retention: 90 days. Configurable from 7 days to indefinite per workspace. After retention, recordings are deleted and the deletion is logged.
