Open https://app.message.com/settings/phones/numbers/buy. Search the supported locations and number types, select a result and review the rental and usage charges before confirming. Availability depends on current carrier inventory.
Port an existing number
Open https://app.message.com/settings/phones/numbers/port. Enter the current carrier and account details and provide the documents requested by the form. Keep your existing service active until the transfer is confirmed.
Configure and test
When the number is active, assign its department, hours, greeting and destination. Make an inbound test call and check the conversation in Inbox. Porting is a carrier process; submitting the form does not make the number immediately active.
