Apply for this role →What you will do
- Own the agent inbox React app. Performance, accessibility, animation, the whole surface.
- Push p95 first-paint on cold load under 1.2s on a mid-tier laptop, indefinitely.
- Pair with the founding designer on a fresh design system that we will use across marketing, app, widget, and mobile.
- Wire up Socket.io in a way that survives flaky agent wifi.
- Build the offline-aware queue UI for the mobile inbox app.
Who you are
- 6+ years in production React. You know the React rendering model in your bones.
- Strong type-system sense (TypeScript). Strong CSS sense (you can rebuild a hero from a Figma comp without a library).
- Comfortable with Socket.io or any real-time transport, plus the failure modes (out-of-order events, reconnects, idempotency).
- You care about animation. Not as a flourish, as a way to make the app feel alive.
Nice to have
- You have built a Slack-style or Intercom-style inbox before.
- You can ship native iOS or Android via Capacitor or Expo without complaint.
