Customer Engineer

You are the first technical face our customers see after they install the widget. You will become the most-cited person in our public help center.

What you will do

  • Run migrations from Intercom, Zendesk, Help Scout, and Drift for our first 100 paying customers.
  • Pair-program with customers on Shopify, WordPress, and custom integrations.
  • Write the help-center articles you wish existed. We will give you the byline.
  • File and merge bug fixes into the platform when you find them. We expect engineers, not ticket-pushers.

How the application works

  1. Write us. Include your resume or portfolio plus a few sentences on why this role.
  2. 30-minute call with the founder. We talk about the work, not your resume.
  3. Paid trial week. $5,000, project of your choice from a small list. We work side by side.
  4. Offer or polite no. Either way, fast, with reasons.
