There are three roles in Message: admin, supervisor, and agent. Admins do everything. Supervisors manage one or more departments. Agents handle conversations in their assigned departments.
Send the invite
Open Settings > Team. Click Invite, paste the new teammate's email, pick a role, and pick which departments they belong to. Click Send. They get a one-click signup email.
What each role can do
Admins manage billing, team, departments, branding, and have access to every conversation. Supervisors see analytics for their departments and can reassign conversations within them. Agents see only the conversations in their departments and can reply, transfer, or close.
SSO and SCIM
On the Enterprise plan, you can connect Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra, or any SAML 2.0 identity provider. SCIM auto-provisions and de-provisions teammates as you add and remove them in your IdP.
