Under the hood.
The plugin extends WordPress with REST endpoints scoped to your workspace. When the AI needs to answer an order question, it calls those endpoints, retrieves the actual order, and grounds its reply in real data. Hallucinations on order status drop to roughly zero in practice, because the model is shown the data before it writes the reply.
Set up in 5 steps.
- 01Install the WordPress plugin and activate it.
- 02Confirm WooCommerce is active in Plugins. The integration auto-enables when both are installed.
- 03In the Message.com settings, open the WooCommerce tab and toggle on Order Lookup, Abandoned Cart, and Catalog Q&A.
- 04Optional: configure the AI's refund policy (max amount per refund, per-order count, escalation rules).
- 05Open the chat widget on your storefront. Ask about an order. The AI will look it up.

Do I need the WordPress plugin first?
Yes. The WooCommerce integration is layered on top of the WordPress plugin.
Can the AI issue refunds?
Yes, with limits you set. The default is $30 max per refund, 1 per order. Anything above goes to a human agent.
Does it work with WooCommerce Subscriptions?
Yes. The AI can see subscription status, next billing date, and trigger pause or cancel flows.
What about multi-currency stores?
Supported through WooCommerce's native multi-currency setup. The AI reads the customer's currency from their order.
