Under the hood.
The Wix app uses the Wix App Market's standard OAuth install flow plus the Wix REST API. When a visitor opens your site, the widget loads from our CDN and checks for an active Wix Members session. If found, the visitor is identified in the inbox. Order and booking data is fetched via Wix's REST API on demand, scoped to the workspace authorized at install.

Does it work with Wix Studio?
Yes. Wix Studio sites are first-class. The app loads the same way as on Wix Editor sites.
What about Wix Velo developer mode?
Supported. The widget coexists with Velo code. You can also call our REST API from Velo if you want custom integrations.
Will it work with Wix's free plan?
Yes. The widget works on every Wix plan, including the free plan (with the Wix subdomain). Wix Stores features require a Business plan.
Can I use a custom domain?
Yes. Custom domains are fully supported. The widget works identically on Wix-hosted subdomains and custom domains.
