How it works

Under the hood.

Facebook Messenger requires a Meta Business Manager account, a Facebook Page, and the Messenger Platform permission. Our setup wizard walks you through linking your Page and authorizing the page_messaging scope. Once connected, every Page DM streams into your workspace via Meta webhooks. Replies sent from the inbox go back through the Send API. Outside the 24-hour customer-service window, message tags or sponsored messages are used (Meta's rules, not ours).

FAQ

Questions people ask before they install.

Do I need a verified Facebook Business?

Not for basic Messenger. Verified Business is required for advanced features like sponsored messages. The integration works without verification for standard DMs.

What about the 24-hour rule?

Meta restricts outbound messages outside 24 hours of the last customer message. We surface this in the inbox and offer message tags (account update, confirmed event update, etc.) where applicable.

Can the AI answer Messenger DMs?

Yes. The same AI that handles your chat handles Messenger, grounded in the same KB. Handover to a human works just like in chat.

Does it support multiple Pages?

Yes. Connect as many Pages as you manage. Each Page can route to a different inbox queue or share one.
