Under the hood.
We provision an SMS-enabled number on our own carrier-grade infrastructure. For US numbers we file A2P 10DLC registration on your behalf, which is required for any high-volume business SMS. Inbound SMS is normalized and lands in your inbox as a conversation. Outbound goes the same route in reverse. MMS uses the same path, with media attachments stored securely in your account.

Questions people ask before they install.
Why is SMS the only Paid integration?
Carriers charge per-message fees. We pass them through at cost (no markup) but they have to be paid. US is typically $0.0075 per SMS segment, MMS slightly higher.
Do I need A2P 10DLC?
Yes, for US business SMS at any meaningful volume. Without 10DLC, carriers block or heavily throttle traffic. We file it for you as part of setup.
Can I port my existing business number?
Yes. Number porting takes 5 to 10 business days. Your number stays live for inbound voice and SMS throughout the port.
What about international SMS?
UK, CA, and AU numbers are available today. Other geographies are on the roadmap. International outbound from a US number is supported with per-destination rates.
