Salesforce custom fields not syncing to Contact

Standard fields work. Two custom fields are not flowing. Anything I am missing?

Three things. (1) The Connected App needs the custom field in its field-level security. Check Setup > Permission Sets > the Message integration permission set. (2) The field has to be mapped in Settings > Integrations > Salesforce > Field mapping. (3) Initial sync is one-way; future sync is two-way. If it was added after install, it backfills on the next nightly sync, not real time.
